"Park Hill Road" Croydon
This development of eight high specification luxury apartments was completed in June 2010 for a private client.
On this highly complex build, Sovereign were involved in value engineering works to the design of the underground car park / basement area, resulting in savings to the client of over £75000. Initially it appeared sheet piling was the only alternative, however during many months of pre-construction work, in conjunction with the design team, we were able to revert to more cost effective methods.
The building consists of a concrete basement, whilst the apartments have been constructed using a timber frame and built to the stringent standards of the Code for Sustainable Homes level 4. In addition, this building also features a Bio mass boiler system.
This exciting project has received acclaim for the high standard of unique finishes and design flair. Keen interest has been shown in these luxury apartments which have already all been reserved for let.
Throughout this building project, we have continually worked in close harmony with the neighbours and achieved a high rating under the Considerate Construction Scheme.
