"Rockfield Road" Oxted

This development of two ultra modern homes, which has been built for a private client, is now approaching completion having taken just over a year from our initial meeting to commencement.

The complexities of this site have been due to the huge slope across the site of over 8 metres. This has caused many logistical challenges which have been over come using our years of experience and with maximum co-operation from sub-contactors and the client.

At our first meeting, the original design featured contiguous piling which is a very expensive operation. In conjunction with our engineers, we have managed to revert to more traditional methods. This will lead to the client seeing substantial cost savings.

The project was won in competition against 4 main contractors and another project manager who although offering the client a lower price was unable to provide the same level of expertise and service. The client therefore chose to work with us

Our unique way of pricing projects enabled the work to start earlier than expected and has also enabled the client to make on-going changes and choices without incurring additional costs. This has also allows 'tweaking' on a day-to day basis and particularly appealed to our client who was initially unsure which property he might want to occupy personally.

These unique developments are due for completion in July 2010 and feature renewable technology including air source heat pumps. We are continuously working with the client to achieve cost savings and have remained heavily involved in assisting the client specify all of the main fixtures and fittings.
